Danielle MORIN

“I explore internal geographies: pink caverns, troubadours, clown heads, disheveled flowers, morphology without logic from an unlimited imaginary faculty. Why am I painting? I know the pleasure of course, the continuous exploration of the universe that surrounds me and the meeting with myself, unavoidable and sometimes surprising. ... but still further ... a mysterious call: I answer it. That's why I paint: always further. There is in me an adventurous soul, the child who was fascinated by the great reporter Daniel Bertolino. The one that made me feel like a marine one time, and sail to the Arctic.

Everything is connected, everything has a meaning, I carry the intimate conviction. Color and shapes, from the outside to the inside and vice versa, like a breath. That's why I paint: adventure. The endless adventure of visual and human experience.”
